The inside of the current Icekap contains five numbered pockets and one optional attachable pocket.

The numbered gel packs correspond with the numbered pockets inside the cap. Slide each pack completely into its appropriate pocket and make sure it lies as flat as possible before freezing or using the cap.

Positioning the packs before they become very cold generally makes setup easier.
