Can Icekap gel packs be used with dry ice?Updated 3 hours ago
Icekap gel packs can tolerate very cold environments, but dry ice requires additional care.
If you're using dry ice to keep Icekaps cold during transportation or treatment, we recommend positioning the gel packs inside the cap before cooling rather than chilling loose packs separately.
Extremely low temperatures can make gel packs substantially firmer. Having them positioned ahead of time makes it easier to switch caps without having to manipulate very cold, rigid packs.
Dry ice can cause serious cold burns and releases carbon dioxide as it warms. Always use appropriate protection and transport dry ice in a properly ventilated container.
Allow your Icekap to reach a tolerable temperature before placing it against your skin.
