4. Keep replacement caps in a well-insulated cooler until needed.

5. Adjust the compression straps so the cooling surfaces make secure, comfortable contact with your scalp.

6. Rotate to a freshly chilled cap according to the cooling schedule recommended by your care team.

Exact pre-cooling, infusion, and post-infusion cooling times vary by chemotherapy regimen.
